Yesterday, a meeting to discuss the development of trade relations with Turkmenistan was held with the participation of economic and government activists of the province, hosted by the Bojnurd Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture. Dr. Hashemi presented some of the capacities in the health sector as well as the measures taken in the field of health tourism development in the province.

By order of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences’ Chancellor, Director of the NKUMS’ international affairs was appointed, and with this appointment, directorate of public relations and international affairs of the University were officially separated from each other in order to strengthen international activities and develop their programs.

During the 18th Mashhad Tourism and Handicrafts Exhibition, the NKUMS pavilion hosted Anushirvan Mohseni Bandpay, the country's tourism deputy minister.

Dr. Peyman Feyzi, Director of Public Relations and International Affairs of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences, elaborated on formation of joint cooperation in the field of developing health tourism with the aim of attracting domestic and foreign patients.

During the 18th International Tourism and Handicrafts Exhibition in Mashhad, the NKUMS vice-Chancellor for Treatment, discussed with domestic tourism officials and health sector representatives from different countries, and emphasized the university's full readiness to provide professional services to foreign patients.

The NKUMS Director of Public Relations and International Affairs announced the presence of NKUMS in Mashhad International Tourism Exhibition with the aim of improving the status of health tourism in the province.

The President's Health Tourism Advisor and the Deputy Director General of Economic Affairs of the North Khorasan Governorate visited North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences booth in Tehran International Tourism and Related Industries Exhibition.

During the 18th International Tourism and Related Industries Exhibition in Tehran, the Deputy Minister of Health of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education visited the North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences' booth to view the achievements and capabilities of this university in the field of health tourism and providing medical services to domestic and foreign patients, and discussed with the university chancellor.

In line with internationalization of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences (NKUMS), and following the invitation letter from NKUMS Chancellor, a delegation from Ahal region of Turkmenistan headed by their governor paid a visit to Imam Hassan Hospital.

NKUMS Director of Public Relations & International Affairs said: Following the MoU signed between NKUSM and Kardan Sharq Institute of Health Sciences of Afghanistan, the first training course was held for the faculty members of this institute.
