Dr. Esmaeil Garivani, M.D., Orthopedic Surgeon, is now Director of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences Office of International Affairs. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Managing the Persian website of International Affairs and the English website of the university

  2. Providing advice on the internationalization of the university in the fields of treatment, education, research and technology

  3. Assisting in the implementation of international programs in various fields of the university

  4. Carrying out international correspondence of the university

  5. Verification of documents of graduates, staff and faculty members of the university for submission to universities and other institutions abroad

  6. Receiving and reviewing the files of non-Iranian applicants for study at the university

  7. Carrying out translations required by the university

  8. Planning and coordinating visits of foreign guests to the university

  9. Preparing international contracts and memorandums of understanding of the university

Minister of Health Visits North Khorasan to Inaugurate Major Healthcare Projects on the Occasion of Government Week

Dr. Zafarghandi, Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, arrived in North Khorasan with the purpose of inaugurating and commissioning a series of significant healthcare projects across the province.

According to Webda, this visit marks a major step toward strengthening healthcare infrastructure and advancing health equity for the people of North Khorasan.

 

In his first official trip to the province, Dr. Zafarghandi began his remarks by commending the efforts of the university’s leadership team, noting that the reports presented reflect a capable and forward-looking management. He emphasized that their performance over the past year promises a brighter future for the province’s healthcare sector.

 

Highlighting the critical importance of human resources in the health system, the Minister stated: “Qualified faculty members, skilled professionals, students, and even the referral system, all form an interconnected chain safeguarding the future of the country’s health. Therefore, we must strive to address existing shortages through flexibility and by adopting models tailored to diverse challenges. Supporting and strengthening rare specialties is also among the ministry’s key priorities.”

 

As part of this visit, a wide range of projects, including medical centers, specialized hospital wards, and modern health infrastructures will be inaugurated, with substantial investments dedicated to expanding the province’s healthcare network.
