Units of the Office of International Affairs
The Office of International Affairs at North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences operates through four main units, each responsible for specific tasks:
1. International Relations Unit
This unit is responsible for tasks such as:
- Drafting and execution of MoUs and contracts with foreign universities and organizations
- Coordination of academic exchange programs and international missions
- Hosting and facilitating visits of foreign delegations and visiting professors
- Organization and participation in international scientific conferences
- Issuance of academic and professional verification letters
2. International Education Unit
This unit is responsible for tasks such as:
- Admission and registration of international students
- Educational, financial, cultural, and welfare services for students
- Consular affairs and support with residence permits and visas
- Faculty-related affairs and sabbatical leaves
- Marketing and outreach activities including digital promotion and participation in international fairs
3. International Research Unit
This unit is responsible for tasks such as:
- International rankings and accreditations of the university
- Development of international collaborative research projects
- Support for publication and indexing of university journals in international databases
- Promotion of scientific visibility and global research networking
4. Health Tourism Unit
This unit in coordination with Treatment Vice-Chancellery is responsible for tasks such as:
- Admission and facilitation of international patients in affiliated hospitals and centers
- Coordination of medical and support services for foreign patients
- Participation in national and international health tourism exhibitions
- Efforts toward achieving IPD (International Patient Department) certification for provincial hospitals and surgery centers
