Issuance of Student Residency and Commencement of Studies

Applicants who have successfully obtained a student visa must apply for their residency permit within one month from the date of visa issuance.

For applicants already residing in Iran with family residency:

  • You must exit and re-enter Iran at least once within the one-month period.
  • This is to ensure exit and entry stamps are placed in your passport.
  • The stamped passport must then be presented to the University Consular Affairs Office for verification.

For applicants residing outside Iran and who graduated from schools abroad:

Upon arrival in Iran, visit the university’s Consular Affairs Office.

You must have your academic documents validated in two steps:

  1. Certification by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in your home country (before entering Iran)

  2. Certification by the International Schools Verification Office in Iran (after entry)

Applicants residing outside Iran do not need to exit and re-enter the country for residency purposes.

Simply report to the consular office after your arrival.
