According to Webda, the NKUMS Chancellor spoke about the province's health sector capacities in the presence of the Iranian ambassador to Turkmenistan and emphasized: "We can provide health services to patients from Turkmenistan." He also mentioned that so far, we have hosted Turkmen patients in the province and this capacity can be facilitated. 

 

Dr. Seyed Ahmad Hashemi emphasized the need to provide greater contact with the Turkmen medical system and announced the province's full readiness to provide competent services in the field of health services. 

 

The Iranian ambassador to Turkmenistan also referred to the activities of health tourism brokers at the "Bajigaran" border and said at the meeting: "These people have harmed the medical tourism industry, and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education must think of a measure to prevent this."Referring to the problems in the field of health tourism, Roozbahani stated: "We are facing serious challenges in this sector, and a large part of Turkmen patients enter Iran through the border and unfortunately, at the border, are guided by brokers, and this issue requires careful planning and serious organization."

 

He also pointed to technical problems in the field of medical communications and said: "The medical software used in Turkmenistan is not accessible to Iranian doctors, while using this capacity could help facilitate the process of accepting patients."

 

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Feyzi, Director of Public Relations, and Dr. Garivani, Director of International Affairs of the university, were also present at this meeting, along with Dr. Hashemi.
