Office of International Affairs

The Office of International Affairs at North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences (NKUMS) was separated from Public Relations in June 2025, and has since been operating independently with the mission of advancing the internationalization of education, research, and healthcare services.

NKUMS, with 7 Schools, 4 research centers, 9 affiliated hospitals, more than 2100 students, and approximately 250 faculty members, provides a strong foundation for international academic cooperation. The Office of International Affairs works to expand partnerships with global universities, research institutes, and healthcare organizations. It also facilitates international academic exchanges, joint research projects, mobility programs, and specialized training opportunities for students, researchers, and faculty members.

In addition to academic and research collaborations, the Office is actively engaged in health tourism development across North Khorasan Province. In collaboration with Vice-Chancellery for Treatment, efforts are currently underway to obtain International Patients Department (IPD) certification for hospitals and surgical centers in the province to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to international patients.
