In an interview with Webda reporter, Dr. Mohammad Reza Safdari, referring to the advanced medical infrastructure, specialized staff, and hospital capacities of North Khorasan Province, said: North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences, utilizing experienced human resources and specialized facilities, is ready to provide medical services with international standards to foreign patients, and we have set a specific goal to enter the health tourism market.

 

 Dr. Safdari considered attending this exhibition a valuable opportunity to introduce the province's capacities in the field of health tourism and expand international interactions, and added: "In interactions with representatives of different countries, proposals have been made for cooperation and referral of international patients, which could be an important step forward."

 

He invited health tourism activists, facilitating companies, and domestic and foreign investors to attend the North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences booth (Ferdowsi Hall, Booth 38) to provide the basis for joint and effective cooperation in attracting foreign patients.

 

He concluded by emphasizing: "On the path to realizing health diplomacy, North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences, with careful planning and serious determination, is ready to become one of the main destinations for medical tourism in the region."

 

Investigating the joint cooperation between Herat Hospital of Afghanistan and North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences in the field of health tourism

Specialized negotiations for accepting Afghan patients in the province's hospitals, especially Imam Hassan, as well as the presence of Iranian doctors in Herat's Habibyar Hospital to train doctors at that hospital and hold training courses were discussed.

 

According to Webda, this meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Safdari, with officials from Habibyar International Hospital in Herat, Afghanistan, at the university's dedicated pavilion.

 

In order to internationalize the university in the field of health tourism, North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences has an active presence in the Khorasan Razavi International Tourism Exhibition, which will be held from May 14 to 17 at the holy Mashhad International Exhibition Center.
