According to WEBDA, on Tuesday, July 21st, a meeting was held with the participation of Dr. Garivani, Director of International Affairs; Dr. Vatanchian, Head of International Educational Affairs; and Dr. Younesi, Head of International Research Affairs of the university.

 

This operational planning session focused on assessing the university’s capacities and requirements for expanding international collaboration in both education and research.

In the field of education, it was decided that necessary measures will be taken to implement effective marketing strategies aimed at attracting international students. Plans were also made to organize short-term educational courses, international seminars, and webinars. Other priorities include facilitating sabbatical leaves for faculty members, identifying and evaluating international student attracting agencies for potential cooperation, updating and completing the educational section of the university’s English website, and reviewing and announcing new tuition rates for international students.

 

On the research side, strategies were outlined to improve the university’s position in international academic rankings.

Additional initiatives discussed include launching joint research projects with international institutions, creating incentives for faculty members to publish collaborative papers with international researchers, designing and launching an English scientific journal, and organizing international educational and research workshops.

 

This meeting marked an important step in defining effective policies for enhancing the international profile of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences and laid the groundwork for actionable global academic engagement.
