Dr. Esmaeil Garivani, M.D., Orthopedic Surgeon, is now Director of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences Office of International Affairs. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Managing the Persian website of International Affairs and the English website of the university

  2. Providing advice on the internationalization of the university in the fields of treatment, education, research and technology

  3. Assisting in the implementation of international programs in various fields of the university

  4. Carrying out international correspondence of the university

  5. Verification of documents of graduates, staff and faculty members of the university for submission to universities and other institutions abroad

  6. Receiving and reviewing the files of non-Iranian applicants for study at the university

  7. Carrying out translations required by the university

  8. Planning and coordinating visits of foreign guests to the university

  9. Preparing international contracts and memorandums of understanding of the university

NKUMS Holds the Second Training Course for Ghalib University Faculty Members

NKUMS Director of Public Relations & International Affairs said: In line with the implementation of the cooperation agreement concluded with Ghalib University of Herat, Afghanistan, the second short-term training course was held for the faculty members of this university.

Ali Sanai, NKUMS Director of Public Relations & International Affairs, stated that the "New Teaching Approaches and Strategies" course was implemented for the faculty members of Ghalib University, in order to develop educational, scientific and research cooperation. This course was held virtually, with the aim of familiarizing with new approaches and strategies of teaching. Nearly 20 professors participated in this course which was held with the cooperation of the virtual and electronic education center of the university.

 

He said this course was held under the supervision of Dr. Khorashadizadeh, associate professor and head of NKUMS School of Nursing, aiming at applying student-oriented strategies, and being systematic, society oriented, selective and getting familiar with the integration strategy.

 

Sanai added: short-term courses, taught by professors and faculty members of North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences in different topics including teaching research methods in medical sciences, midwifery, gynecology and obstetrics, modern technologies, dentistry, etc. are planned for the empowerment and scientific promotion of professors and students of Afghan universities.
