About Office of Vice-Chancellor for Food & Drug

After establishment and promotion of the university, The NKUMS Office of Vice-Chancellor for Food and Drug developed its activities in the fields of promotion of food and drug safety and community health.

This vice-chancellery consists of three offices:

• Office of Food & Beverages, Cosmetics & Hygienic Observation
• Office of Drugs & Addictive Drugs Observation & Evaluation
• Office of Food & Hygiene Control Laboratory

Employing expert staff, establishing Food & Hygiene Control laboratory, establishing Research Center for Medicinal Plants & Natural Products and constructing the new building, are amongst the most important activities of this vice-chancellery.

It is also notable that the NKUMS Office of Vice-Chancellor for Food & Drug has achieved the first rank in the performance evaluation of Iran’s Food and Drug administration in 2008.
