Established in 1991, the School of Nursing and Midwifery at North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences (NKUMS) began its academic journey by offering undergraduate programs in Nursing and associate degrees in Midwifery. Originally affiliated with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, it gained autonomy following the establishment of NKUMS in 2005 after the separation of North Khorasan Province.
Since then, the school has grown significantly—both in academic offerings and infrastructure. It now hosts four academic departments and offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in the following fields:
